Tian Jing Hotel Reservation Booking Policies

Rates

Rates are per room per night and subject to 6% service tax and 0% Goods and Services Tax (GST). Foreign currency rates are converted to the local currency at time of billing. Rates and GST are subject to changes without notice. Please note that a change in length and/or dates of stay may result in a rate change.

Check-in/Check-out

Check-in at Tian Jing Hotel starts from 2pm onwards. Check-out latest at 11am. Early check-in and late check-out will be subjected to availability and charges.

Tourism Tax

With effect from 1st September 2017, the Federal Government of Malaysia has implemented the mandatory Tourism Tax (TTx) of Rm 10.00 nett per room per night on all non-Malaysians and foreign passport holders.

This amount is to be collected by the hotel on behalf of the government upon check-in. This tax is in accordance with the Federal Government of Malaysia Gazette Tourism Tax (Rate of Tax) Order 2017. All Malaysian Nationals and Permanent Residents are exempted. Please be advised that Tourism Tax is not included in your total room charge.

Refusal to pay the Tourism Tax will mean a cancellation of booking which will result in penalty according to the Hotel’s cancellation policy.

Deposit / Cancellation Notice

All valid booking has to be guaranteed by a valid debit/credit card. Tian Jing Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise 1 night room deposit upon booking for security of booking. Notice of cancellation should be received/provided 7 days prior to arrival date, in which arrival date is not included as one of the 7 days. In the event of no-show or late cancellation within 7 days of arrival, a 100% of total room charge penalty or 1 night room charge penalty will be applied respectively.

For bookings during peak period from 1st November 201X - 6 January 201X (Peak), the cancellation period is increased to 14 days prior to arrival date, in which arrival date is not included as one of the 14 days In the event of no-show or late cancellation within 14 days of arrival, a 100% of total room charge penalty will be applied.

Legal Authority

You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into the contract constituted by your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. You further warrant that you will be financially responsible for all reservations made by you or on your account for you, whether authorised by you or not. For any reservations or other services for which fees may be charged, you agree to abide by the terms or conditions of supply including without limitation payment of all moneys due under such terms or conditions.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us and we respect your personal information, i.e. the data obtained from you in connection with the services provided through this Website. We may use your personal information in the following ways in order to provide you with a first class service:

1. To process and confirm your room reservation requests and special services required during your stay;
2. To contact you regarding your enquiries;
3. For marketing purposes, such as sending you updates on our latest offers and promotions;
4. For identification and verification purposes;
5. For our own reference and record; or
6. When required or authorised by or under law to disclose the information.

We will not knowingly or intentionally use or share your personal information with third parties in ways unrelated to the purposes aforementioned.

Minors

We do not intend to nor do we seek to receive information from minors. If a child has provided us with personal information without parental or guardian consent, the parent or guardian should email us to remove the information and unsubscribe them from any promotional contact opportunities. As we cannot distinguish the age of persons who access our website, a blanket privacy policy is applied.

Child Policy

We are happy to welcome children 0-6 years sharing a room with their parents, without an extra bed/ blanket & pillow without charge. Extra blanket and pillow will be provided at additional cost of RM20 and RM10 respectively.

Extra Bed and Person Policy

There is no extra bed in Tian Jing Hotel. Extra person will be charged at RM 100 per person per night for a maximum of 1 extra person per room.
